| Re: Psoriasis
The only medicine that helps my husband was dovonex ointment, it now has been taken off the market. He cannot find it anywhere, he called to see if a pharmacy had some left over,we even checked the whole state pretty much. He still tries dovonex cream, and another called talconex and they keep it balanced. The best thing that helps his psoriasis is sun. In the summer, he golfs and the psoriasis clears up on his legs and arms. He also tans, and it helps some. In the winter, it is much worse, and he barely shows his elbows.
I have read the exfoliation helps and like the other poster said keep it moisturized. My husband rarely puts moisturizer on, but he uses the creams to help. My husband has it on his elbows, legs, hands, scalp, and finger nails. He battles it everyday. Do you have a good dermatologist?
Good luck,
Kassandra
