I have had Psoriasis since I was a teenager. I am now 45 and still have spots in different places. The areas that have healed has left pigmentation (light brown spots). When it comes to my legs, I can keep them covered by wearing pants all of the time; which I am not too impressed about as in the summer I can't wear shorts; which I would like to do like most people. I really envy the people that have clear legs and can show them off.
I know that Psoriasis can appear anywhere, but the worst place it can show up on is on the back of your hands....
you CAN'T hide your hands
. It used to be only on my left hand, but now there are patches on my right hand. I do have ointment prescribed by the doctor, but that doesn't always work.
I would appreciate any advice/tips that anyone can give me on alternatives that I can try in addition to the ointment, that may have helped others in decreasing the look of the patches and redness, or cleared it up somewhat.
Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you very soon.
