I have psoriasis mostly on my face between my eyebrows & folds by the nose & it drives me crazy. It itches like crazy then flakes & peels. I went & bought Dermarest but then it flakes up real bad & looks terrible. Anyone had this problem & what did you use? Thanks
This is going to sound funny, but rub a banana peel on your trouble patches. I read online somewhere that banana peels contain a number of antioxidants and minerals that can help the skin restore itself naturally. I've been rubbing a peel on my arms for the past 3 days (2 times a day) and there is already a huge improvement - my patches are half as red as they were before and there is a lot less build up of scales. It sounds crazy, but so far it is working very well for me. Try it!
Never heard of the banana peel before! But I also might give it a try. The best thing that works for me is to eliminate sugar and flour. I know that that is difficult at any time but Holidays make it harder, but it really does work. Also eliminate artificial sweeteners.
I know! My psoriasis gets so painful that it is worth it after a while. When I can be sugar and flour free for about 3 weeks, my skin will heal up completely! Pretty much like the adkins diet.
