| Re: Psoriasis and Tatoos
I'd say I have a pretty small case of psoriasis. The only time it flares up is during the winter, but then it goes away during the summer because I work outside. Patches usually appear behind my knees, sometimes on my thighs, a little on the sides of my abdomen, and some on my arms. When I first had it, my mom (who's a nurse) gave me some Elocon, which worked spectacularly, and now my dermatologist is giving me Aquaphor. I think the Elocon is a little more stronger (or just works better for me) because I used it once or twice and the patches completely disappeared.
I've heard that when some people who have psoriasis get tatoos, the psoriasis may flare up a little bit around the image. This doesn't seem to be too bad, so long as it is treatable and goes away.
