| skin problem
just after christmas I got what I thought were 2 insect bites on my shins. Instead of going away they got bigger, and are about the size of a fifty cent piece. The skin is reddish and scaly and 2 or 3 more have come up on other parts of both my legs. They are dry, reddish and itchy! The doctor gave me bactroban and betnovate, but that only seems to ease the itch a bit. There are ticks in this area where I live, but these are something I've never had. i had a herpes simplex on the back of my right leg years ago after having surgery, and I thought this was one of those. I tried betadine at first, but nothing is working.
