Itching help needed please

So I have severe PS, I have been taking natural herbs for over a month now and have been told when I enter my 2nd and 3rd months to expect that's when my flareups will start disappearing, for right now I am trying to battle the intense itching on a daily basis. At night, after showering with mineral soap [dead sea salt] equivalent, I moisturize with Aveeno lotion from head to toe and I am taking Benadryl which does it's job to handle the sleeping part but I notice that after taking the benadryl, I will itch like crazy in a few spots before I fall asleep and when I wake up and all day long I constantly have to keep itching so this means during my waking hours I need something better to keep the itching down, any ideas please? I would moisturize in the morning too but since I still itch after doing so at night I don't see why that would help during the day?
