Ok..I am 14 and the guy that I was with is 18 he fingered me.. can he get in trouble? is it stagitory rape? or is that just when you have sex? becuase I heard that it is even if they kiss you... I dunno
It was with my best friends cousin...and I dont know how to tell her that...even that i like him!
Also, my friend is always like omg why dont you like guys in our grade because I have always liked guys that are older...not to older I have liked guys that are in 10th, 11th and 12th grade but none in 9th(which is what I am in)..Is it ok to like older guys? I know it is but how come I never like the guys in my grade..is it because they are more mature or something in the older grades?? I dunno just for some reason they are more attractive..they are hotter too... hmm lol help... haha
Yes he can get in trouble. Fingering is consdiered a sex act even if teens dont consider it that. Oral, hand jobs, fingering, anal and vaginal intercourse all fall under the laws regarding STATUTORY rape. Chances are it would be a lesser charge but it would still get him in trouble.
Be wary of older guys as they tend to go after younger girls because they know they can push them into more things than girls their own age. Reason being younger girls see them as hotter and so on.
It is fine to like older guys but make sure you are careful around them.

It depends on what state you live in. In Missouri, it is legal for a 21 year old to perform sex acts with someone as young as 14.
Regardless, are you sure you're ready to allow a man to touch you in a sexual way? At 14, you're not even all the way sexually developed. If you do feel ready for sexual acts, then you need to go see an ob/gyn and get start getting your annual PAP smears and you need to talk to someone about getting on birth control.
Actually Chelle,that isnt correct.
In that state 14 is the age of consent as long as the other person is 20 or under. But when the person turns 21 then the younger person has to be 17 in order to give consent. Kind of strange but true.
Do a search for Age Of Consent and then look up that state. You can click on it to get more info and it explains the 14/17 thing there.

You are 14 years old, why are you getting into sexual situations with someone that much older than you at such a young age? Why are you trying to make your life so difficult? Are you having home problems? Are you looking for love, cause you are not going to find it at age 14 girl. Keep your legs closed for awhile, you will have plenty of time to do that stuff, why are you rushing? Be the little girl that you are cause it's not gonna last very long. And the nasty basta*d that did that to you needs to be locked the hell up.

I totally agree... please go see a gynecologist and talk to someone about birth control. Please don't only rely on HIM to provide the protection... I believe two methods of contraception are best, especially since you're so young! You don't want to find out the hard way that nothing is 100% effective at 14 or 15!
I can understand preferring older guys... I did, too, when I was in high school, but I also wasn't allowed to date until I was 17. Anyway, they might *seem* more mature, but I have my doubts that they're ready for relationships... I would be wary of an 18 year old wanting to date a 14 year old. Sounds to me like he just wants to use her. Not that it's always the case, but very often it is.
Good luck.

I'm a little confused. From reading your last posts, I thought you were ready for sex? It sounded like you were planning it and wanting to know what to do.
It's fine to like older guys, but you might want to try and stay within a 3 year age difference. That’s the way it is here.
Here in Oregon, it would be considered statutory rape for someone 17 or older to finger or have sexual intercourse with a 14 year old.
A guy who graduated from my school last year, who is 18, just got out of jail 2 weeks ago, after spending a 32 days there on statutory rape charges. He had sex with a 13 year old, against the advice of a few friends. Someone informed the authorities that he had sex with a 13 year old, and voila. Statutory rape charges
If they have enough evidence to convict him, he faces upward of 20 years in prison.
It doesn’t even have to be that the girl he had sex with pressed charges, but that anyone informs local police, local authorities or whatnot.
As for my personal opinion, I think you should stay away from guys who are a lot older than you are. At 14, you haven’t lived that long yet, and 14 to 18 is quite a stretch. If you are going to engage in any kind of sexual activities, I advise that it be with someone within a few years of you, say 2 or 3 at the most.
Also, I did a search for “Age of consent law” and a few related topics, and I couldn’t find anything of use. But if anyone has any information they can share, I think it would be helpful to the originator of this topic.

Apollo you would be surprised the mods have a busy time on their hands and they dont always catch posts that arent suppose to be there. I was just telling him because if his post gets editted he will know. Also if he does it alot he can get banned.
