i have had epilepsy since i was 13 years old. when i was 16 my mom and dad wanted to learn more about my epilepsy so they took me to be moniterd at Cleveland Clinic. Anyway i was hooked up to 35 electrods in bed. i had 2 sphenodial (spelling) in the space between my jaws. i had EEG's , EKG's, MRI's ect. I had one 5 hour MRI! that is when they found the cause of my seizures. Subcortical Band Heterotopia or a Double Cortex. I have had it since birth. i had my first seizure at 13. But didnt know why untill i was 16. I have a mild case of this. there are more serious cases.
