You might want to try searching "lymphoproliterative disorder(s)".
This seems to be a general "umbrella" name under which many blood or immune diseases fall. Some of the disorders are congenital and appear in babies, some are acquired later, as in the case of your friend.
The doctor who diagnosed her should give her a specific name of a disease. Just saying lymphoproliterative disease/disorder" is like saying "dermatitis" of which there are thousands of separate and distinct skin diseases.
