I don't know what is wrong with me. For about 1 1/2 years now, I've had a weird feeling in my thighs. Whenever I'm sitting down, then suddenly stand up, I feel really dizzy and my I have to clench my fists and toes to maintain control of my balance. It's almost like I'm partially handicapped for about 5-10 seconds. It's really weird and really hard to understand, that's why I'm confused. My toenails just recently turned yellow and brittle. I went to the doctor and got some anti fungal medication. It's starting to help the nails, but the thigh problem still remains. Has anyone even heard of anything like this before? Thanks alot
well, i can't explain the fungi, but extreme dizziness could possibly vertigo (i cant be positive b/c i'm no doctor); however, vertigo is usually accompanied by extreme nausea.
You either have a disorder of the inner ear that's offsetting your balance, or poor circulation. I have no medical experience but I'm sure you have one of the two.
I have no idea what the weird feeling in your thighs is, but the dizzyness you get when suddenly standing up is sounds like postural hypotension. Which basically means a sudden drop in blood pressure. Trying getting up from a lying or sitting position more slowly to see if it helps.
