| Re: neurofibroma question
I do not think it will show up on an xray. I had one that was originally diagnosed as a schwannoma. An MRI was done and all it reaveled was that it was a soft tissue tumor. 5 months after thinking it was removed and that I was healing, I found out from another MRI that it was still there. I found an AWESOME doctor in Tn. who was familiar with them and did a total nerve reconstruction. I am healing from the nerve graft, but have subquent problems from muscle wasting due to the time elasped thinking the tumor was gone.
Anyway, I would definately further investigate the one you think you have. Where is /was your neurofibroma? Mine was on my ulnar nerve.
