Question quick update on my daughter - PFAPA (Periodic Fever Syndrome)

Hi everyone-quick update
my daughter (33months) just had her T&A on Monday (nov. 5) she had been fevering since 12 months.
the ENT took a snip of her tonsils and sent it off to the lab to be tested. they found "heavy growth" of staph when tested.

although her monthly cultures would come up with nothing (so, no antibiotics b/c we assumed it was viral) i am wondering if a really potent dose of antibiotics would have given us some relief. she is recovering like a champ and we are praying this procedure will end her monthly episodes.
