hello everyone
I feel great I can share my problems with you. My son had an acute attack when he was just 4 months old, I woke up at 3 am and saw he was awaken, his eyes were widely open, his stomach was like swollen, I was trambling as i thought he was dying in my hands. my mother called the neighbor pediatr and she "washed" his stomach out with warm boiled water. It helped. All the nightmare has been ascribed to digestive problems.
About a year and a half we were free from attacks until the summer when he was 2 - he had severest attacks during a week, every evening , night and morning, than once a week, in two weeks and so on.
When i was first told it was Periodic disease I hated the doctor, I just didn't believe, because of unrelated ethnicity. However he is now on Colchicine 0,5mg daily. He was responsive only to american Colch. We feel really relaxed, as soon as attacks seem to have started i give him a half of his dose and everything is OK. It just prevents but does not cure. I can't stop searching for a less harmfull, or harmless medicine, probably homeopathic to cure the disease, if anyone knows anything that helps please tell. thank you
