 hyper sensitivity to stimulants
Can anyone help me?I have always been extremely sensitive to adrenilin producing meds or stimulants to the nervous system.I am earnastly trying to find out who or what a doctor that would study this is called .Im in areal predicament because my dr. and endro dont understand at all and they cantunderstand why I cant tolerate thyroid hormone to get my tsh as low as others .When my tsh is what they consider hypo(although still in range ).I feel like I am just flying.Im52 and my family cant keep up with me,and i have constant diarrea,palpatations,insomnia.just in a major hurry all the time.Then when my tsh is alittle higher 5to6 i feel great,not tired ,but not racing around talking so fast and finishing others sentences cause they seem to slow.All ten years that i have been slightly hypo i have only been able to tolerate.25synthroid and still have some of the intolerance,but this thing turned into a nightmare a month ago.I m normally very healthy other than multinodular goiter ive had for ten years,it has never given me any problems other than a little hypo ,(By their new range)Anyway i got a upper rspitory virus(although it felt almost like mild mumps,),my goiter swelled way up and my ears hurt inside,then I told my husband my jaw on one side ,then both sides hurt.The really weird thing was my face swelled on both side also.After 2 days of this i got real sweaty ,weak and my pulse and bp went way up. I felt as though I was getting straight adreniline.Days later after no sleep or appetite and walking constantly(middle of night also)I went to the emergecy room .bp high ,pulse high very shakey and weak,slight temp,they took a tsh and said i was fine.It has been 4 weeks,ive lost 22lbs,am taking propanalol for bp,stillcant sleep or hardly eat.Can anyone help me to find adoctor that knows about sensitivities?All my doctor says is your tsh is in high normal so try to relax.I feel full of adrenilan ,especially at night. Please help if you can,ok?
