cupiequerida Newbie (female) Join Date: Jun 2011 Location: Roodepoort, Gauteng, South Africa Posts: 1	Salty taste in mouth I had mumps about 3 weeks ago with severe swelling to my upper left jaw. Since a week or two ago I experienced a salty taste in my mouth (also on the left)about 6-10 times during the day. My dentist suspect its from my sinuses which lies behind the roots of my upper back teeth. He referred me to a specialist. How serious is this and how can it be fixed?
