Cronkhite Canada Syndrome - Rare Disorders Message Board

If anyone out there has "Cronkhite Canada Syndrome" I will be interesting in talking to them. I have been told by my doctor that this is what I have and that he doesn't really know that much about it all himself.

I have search the net, but unable to find all that much information. No one seems to know all that much.

I've been told that approx 300 people in the world have this syndrowe (that's how rare it is) so I'd been interesting in hearing from anyone who may know something about it or from someone else who may have it......

All I know about the syndrome is that it is rare as hen's teeth and is characterized by:

intestinal polyps
hair loss
brown spots on the skin
diarrhea
excessive protein loss through the GI tract
