my step-daughter was diagnosed with turner syndrome at the age of 15. obvious signs are that she is very short. she would have never have had a period if not for hormone pills. she will never have children. dr told us someone should have recognized it long before the age of 15. she took growth hormone shots every night for a couple of years. because of her age they didnt help. i read about this on the internet and some of the characteristics were short arms, vision problems, kidney disorders and more. she had none of these problems. she took it well, but didnt like the shots that obviously werent doing any good. she is now almost 20 and doesnt like to talk about it.
