I have round growth about two and a half inches in diameter and raised by half an inch just in front of my hairline which has started to recede a little.

I have seen one doctor and he explained it as being muscluar tissue which he felt could possibly dissapear with time. It has grown from nothing to it's current state over many years and still it continues to grow and it makes me feel very self conscious.

The doctor also said that although it bothered me, he felt uncomfortable with the idea of trying to remove it surgically and would recommend just keeping an eye on it and mointoring for growth periodically.

Does this sound like the best course of action or should I be pushing for some kind of tests?

Any advice would be very appreciated.
