I am sorry for your suffering. I know how it feels. I went to doctors for several years had many, many tests and procedures (even had my gallbladder taken out needlessly) before I was given the proper diagnosis. Even then, it has been very difficult to find someone who knows how to treat it.
When you say that that you had a "gallbladder test", did you mean a HIDA scan? And if you did have it, did you have it done with CCK (Did they give you something thrugh and IV about halfway through the scan)? A HIDA scan with CCK tells you if your gallbladder is emptying properly. If it isn't, it could be because of two things (1)a bad gallbladder (not from stones) or (2)because of something called Sphincter of Oddi Dysfunction (SOD for short). I had a low Ejection Fraction (how fast your gallbladder empties) so the docs thought it was my gallbladder. Now we believe it wasn't the gallbladder, but was the SOD. Some of how you explain your pain is similar to what I have gone through. I have that "sore" feeling almost all of the timenow, along with the "attacks", and even my docs who know what is wrong with me do not really understand why I feel sore.
I hope this helps and that you are able to find your answers soon. Please let me know if I can be of more help. Good Luck
