Have pain and stiffness in the left side/back of neck that extends into the shoulder. I never feel rested. I have spacial issues and sometimes a little off balance. My first Neuro said she thought it could be pseudotumor. I am a 32 year old male who got sick quite suddenly. I am overweight but in the process of downsizing when this all started. Any suggestions?? I am getting puncture on next friday, had an mri and cat scan but they did not seem to notice anything there except for a fatty place in the cerebellum? Did or do any of you experience these symptoms. This is definitely worse if i bend over or try to do any of my normal activities. I have been a worried zombie for the last month. I have mental confustion and feel spaced out and high all the time. Please offer any comments |
This doesn't sound like a pinched nerve at all. In fact, it does sound to me like you, in fact, do have some type of focal neurological defecit. The problem with neuroimaging is that a lot of the time, it comes back normal even though there is something wrong (that can often only be seen as a pathological specimen). Have you had any problems with vision? walking? hands shaking when you're trying to do something? weakness? problems speaking?
Here's an interesting question that I'm being 100% serious about--do you ever feel/look like you've been drinking a lot even though you haven't touched a drop of alcohol?
