worrying symptoms - Rare Disorders Message Board

hi,
well, my symptoms are: worn out and tired, dizzy, eye aches, bruising easily, pins and needles/numb very easily, especially in legs/feet/hands/arms, my joints ache (particularly knee and elbow) and my scalp has been tender. this has been going on for over a month, excpet for the dizziness/tiredness- that has been longer.

i had blood tests done by my doctor, and all of my blood counts and levels are fine and good. He has referred me to a 'rare and exotic' physician. does anyone know of what these symptoms could be? i am worried!

I HAVE HAD JUST ABOUT THE SAME SYMPTOMS AS YOU HAVE POSTED. I DIDN'T REALLY GET THE MUSCLE ACHE ONE BUT THE DIZZINESS AND STUFF OH YEAH!! I ALSO DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS BUT I AM GOING TO THE DOCTOR!

Hi there Ouch-ear-pain, how did the doctors go? Any solutions? Sorry it took ages to reply, i have been busy (and tired!!) with university work.

I have an appointment *by request of the doctor* with the rare and exotic disease specialist, but it isnt until mid october.

Could be Fibromyalgia - a sister of Chronic Fatigue.
I was diagnosed with it two years ago. All the symptoms sound the same.

It could also be Bechets disease, you sounded an awful lot like me a few years ago, when they labeled me with fms rather than looking at whole scenario. Do you get sore in your mouth or genitals, your nose can be considered oral lesions. if so present the sores as well with symptoms with as accurate description as possible.
