| Periodic fever syndromes... finding a doctor
I have twin boys who are 17 months old. For probably 9 months now we have been dealing with unexplainable high fevers. I didn't notice a pattern for the first few months, but finally did and took my boys to the doctor in July. Since then we've been bounced around to different doctors running various tests and all of the tests coming up clear. No answers. This past week we saw an allergist/immunologist who said right away he thinks is its one of the periodic fever syndromes, but said he can't test for it. He said there are very few doctors who deal with this and gave me the name of one, but after calling I found she doesn't work with children with this disorder.
Does anyone have names of good doctors I could contact? I'm desperate to get to the bottom of this.
