| Re: Raynaulds caused by emotional stress
Reynaulds is a vascular condition. Most everyone I have ever heard of, their skin turns white. I have an autoimmune disease, and Reynaulds..as soon as the temperature changes, my toes and areas on the bottom of my feet turn white as well. It hurts like crazy and no amount of warming them up helps...in the summer, I do not experience this. Wearing wool socks, seems to help, because the cold can trigger it, but it is not stress related.
Be careful. Creams and ointments can actually cause more damage if the nerves in your feet are already damaged. Keep them warm and dry and talk to a good podiatrist. There are tests to determine if this is Reynaulds or not.
