Raynauds without white fingers?

I have had a problem with my fingertips and occasionally my toes for several years now. When I am exposed to cold my fingertips turn a purplish red at times or just red and they hurt very bad. Sometimes, my fingers and toes are just cold while I sit at the computer and type and my toes and toenails will actually have a bluish tinge to them. This cold causes numbness, pain, and tingling at times. Do any of you have Raynaud's without having the typical blue or white color changes?

Hi!
I have Raynaud's, and its mostly in my toes. I don't always get the typical red white blue color changes. Most of the time my hands and feet are cold, and my feet turn blue very often. They are also purple at times, and swell. I had terrible ulcers this winter, and went on Prednisone and Procardia, which seemed to help. If you are concerned with your feet and hands, you should see a rheumatologist - they are the ones who deal with it. Good luck!!!

I Have raynaud's which is has been putting up a big fit lately and given me nice little ulcers on my toes. I rarely get the white color change but I get a very very pronounced blue to red color change. My hematologist had loads of fun watching the colors change. So yes, it is entirely possible to have Raynaud's without the White color change.
