rsd and ms

Does RSD cause or contribute to MS?
Does MS cause of contribute to RSD?
Since RSD is a diagnosis by exclusion can it be said that the patient had MS but the doctor missed it, even when the patient had an MRI? Why Not

Re: rsd and ms

My step father has ms and I remember reading somewhere that people with ms run a high risk of getting rsd if I remember right something about ms making holes in the myleon(spelling?) sheaths of nerves and nerve lesions or nerve damage can be a cause of rsd. I know I read this online somewhere but cant remember where you could probably google it though.

Re: rsd and ms

Hi Beatrice,
I've been pushing this topic here because Dr Schwartzman did a study in Spring 08 that concludEd that people w MS have a higher incidence of RSD. Basically it is more common in people suffering from MS then in the general population. I have been tested for MS & am still undergoing that.
MSG me any questions
