I am not sure if its the Topomax 50mg 4 times a day morphine 60 mg 3 times a day, morphine 30 mg instant release 2x a day zanaflex 2x a day
but I am really getting some blurred vision since I broke my back and developed this RSD in both legs.
Does anyone else have vision problems on any of these meds

Hi Lisa

I've had vision problems since RSD, and I'm on morphine 60 mg. time 3 a day, Xanax x 3 aday, soma x 3 a day, percocet x5 a day, remeron x 1 a day. My RSD also started with a neck injury, and depending where it is in the neck can effect a whole lot of body parts. I also have alot of myofacial pain, but am afraid to go to the dentist.

Every year my eyesight changes, sometimes better, but mostly worse, and I have to get new eyeglasses. But what's weird is, some days when I'm having a bad day, a differnt pair of my glasses gives me less headaches.

Go figure. My vision problems started before the morphine. I hope this helps. Have a Happy New Year. Skooze

Hi Lisa....

I have vision problems since RSD...but I can't relate it to any of the medications. My vision gets so blurry I can't function at all. But this comes and goes... last for 30 minutes to up to 3 hours. The reason I can say I don't relate to medication...is because at the beginning I wasn't on any. My Doctor does tell me that some complain of vision problems. I have been to my eye Dr. and my eye glass prescription has not changed....but some days I know it is different. So I think RSD is a big factor in vision problems. Dee

dee_navymom mine was the same as yours. my doctors said they didnt think it was my medication. i was having to have all my schoolwork blownup to at least 18 font just to be able to read it. she said she didnt think it had anything to do and to go to my eye doctor and had everything checked and nothing is wrong. so shes still not sure whats going on.

Hi Ladies!

So this makes sense now. It has to be with something in the way your posture or neck is involved with the central nervous system misfiring. It's sporadic, and maybe that's why I wear different glasses on different days depending on how bad my RSD is??? Just a thought. Do any of you experience headaches during this time?? This really is curious isn't it??
