| Handling anxiety
Hi, This is Sherri again (almost 6 months RSD)...I thankfully will go in next week for another stellate ganglion block, which I hope will help. But my question is for some of you who have gone through the anxiety this causes and have found some way to handle it. After a night where I can't sleep and I lie there burning (both my right and left arms, shoulders, and back), I get up and I am hyperventilating and crying. The fear of this never going away--it's terrible and makes my pain worse. Other than anxiety meds, are there other suggestions you have for remaining calm and having a positive attitude? I really did have a more positive attitude until the last couple weeks, when I've kind of fallen into a terrible depression. Taking Paxil but will switch to something stronger, probably. Anyway, thanks for any suggestions you have. Honestly, I've told myself that I will take this 6 months more but no more than that...(if you know what I mean). But then some of you who have had this for years, and have learned how to live, probably have something to say about that. Anyway, thanks for listening. -Sherri
