Went to ER

Early this morning I finally had enough of it and went to the ER they gave me a prescription for hydrocodone it has only helped a little before and is doing the same now but at least it's a little help and what a relief YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA a little relief is better than none at all. I still don't believe my doctor I finally called and spoke with her assistant whom with a snotty attitude the dr can give me a list a doctor names. But it would better to call the hospital and they can take my insurance info, I have only told them abut a hundred times now that I do not have insurance just workers comp WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE

Re: Went to ER

Melissa,

I can't believe the ER just gave you hydrocodine. Not very strong meds to help with any flare ups or extra pain. But of course Doctors think they know best,ha.I wish. I know what you mean about receptionists and docs being stupid. Since I've reached max medical improvement I can no longer use my wc to pay for meds or doc visits.Even though I still have so many problems.Anyway every time I go in to see my doc the receptionist says "so we're billing wc?" I tell her no,every time.I've been doing this for several months now a couple times a month. She remembers me and knows which doc in the office I'm seeing but she can't remember not to bill wc.Stupidity really pees me off some times. I mean if you can't do your job then should you be in that field? My doctors not much better but in least he knows that I have to pay completely out of pocket. Don't get to frustrated. I know how you feel dealing with these idiots that think they are all high and mighty just because they went to school in the stone age. Keep your chin up.
Stay warm,
Deanne

Re: Went to ER

I have told my doctor and her assistant I don't know how many times now that I am looking for another doctor because I can no longer drive that distance but what do they listen to me. Now I have a contant headache for the past couple weeks I guess I'm just suppose to sit here and live with it, I don't think so. Harmony your almost or are in the same situation I am. Cept I am taking WC to court to have their decision reversed. I'm ready to scream 24 hours a day it won't help any but no body is listening to me anyway so what the hell, I mean no one is listening in the medical world and places like that
