Something needs to be done

I can't take this much more, the rsd is having a field day with me with no pain management or medicaition I can swear it knows. My legs are getting stiff I can barely move my head to the right the pain is just to much and my neck is very tight I have no clue where they came from but I two little bruises on my left arm at the bicep. I have had a constant headache now, mainly on the right side for a couple weeks.along with constant back pain which means the hydrocodone isn't working that they gave me

Re: Something needs to be done

Melissa,

I am so sorry this is happening. I wish there was something I could do, but these darn pills won't fit into the ethernet socket! Do you have anything you can do to take the pain away somewhat? I know I get distracted by music sometimes and don't think about the pain.

Re: Something needs to be done

Not really, I'm going to get a few bottles of extra strength Tylenol if I have to take 7 at once oh well we will see if it helps. Thanks for the offer for the internet pills but I don't think microsoft has a painkiller.dll yet , so it would get lost some place between us . I think microsoft anyway is the anti-painkiller . I know I have had this RSD just over a year so I'm fairly new at it still but I don't know how some of you more advanced with this deals with it.

Re: Something needs to be done

Hahaha,

I was hoping that would at least make you smile. Just be careful with the tylenol. Anything over 3000 mg daily on a consistent basis is toxic to the liver.

Re: Something needs to be done

Melissa,

I agree.Tylenol can be worse for you in high doses. So can ibuprofen.Taking to much of either can not only effect the liver but your stumic and could lead to more problems. It can also lead to bleeding in the stumic and ulsters.I had no choice at one point to.I can understand your frustration and just wanting to take anything that might help.Just be careful. My old doctor precribed very high doses of ibuprofen when my rsd first started. I took way to much and now I can not take it at all.Even if it's in something. I just want you to know that please be careful. You don't need anything else wrong with you at this point.Rsd is enough. I'm so sorry that you are in the pain you're in and have to resort to doing this.Just know that you are not alone. There are many of us who have had to go through the same and simular things. It's difficult and very mentally waring sometimes. I hope you get some relief from your pain. It's so hard to fight when this disease drains everything in your body. Don't give up.You can win this fight.
Have you tried sitting in a hot tub to ease your pain.Everyone's rsd is different and people can handle different things. It does help ease the pain for me sometimes. If I can try and brake the flare up it can help with the stiffness and muscle aches/spasms. I hope I've been some help. You are in my thoughts and I wish you the most relief you can get from this horrible monster we call rsd.
Stay warm,
Deanne
