 Nerve Stimulator
Hi,
i'm new to the boards, but already feel like one of the crew.
i have rsd of my right hand, arm, into my shoulder, and possibly in my left hand as well. it developed after my right digital nerve in my index finger was hit, at work.
i have tried various meds-i'm very sensitive to them-physical therapy,heat, massage, and 10 nerve blocks and now my doctor is suggesting the nerve stimulator. He gave me the pamphlet and the video to look at, and we are going to discuss it at my next appointment.
i'm scared, and because of the workman'comp thing-at my hearing they judged that i'm not totally disabled therefore i can work, and no more $. it has all been such a pain
extremely overwhelming at times! i know- one step at a time- nerve stimulator...or... try to get back doing something,(there is no way i can do what i was doing before) in an invironment that i fear, demonstrated by previous actions, will try to screw me. ok-ok-focusing...
For those of you who have the nerve stimulator, what helped make up your mind, and if you could have done anything differently,what?
