I just posted a message that got me thinking, well I have wondered it before but had no place to really ask about it. I am really curious of where everyones EMG was given to find out the condition they have. Mine where given at some strange places considering it wasnt given to where my pain was the most.
I have had two EMGs, mind you the most part of the terrible pain I am in was not tested. Here is what I had wrong and what was tested.
My left leg goes out (I cant seem to move them)when I push or pull things or carry two gallons of milk and yet my right leg was given a emg I was told it would reveal the same results. Which at the time of the test I thought I was going in too find out why above my waist my entire body shoulders T disc zone and left arm were in a great amount of pain. Results of this test was I had Myofascial Pain Syndrome.
Test two EMG, finally got a doctor too send me in for the arm/shoulder pain. Test was conducted below my elbow on the left side and right, test showed I had severe carple tunnel both sides. Sad I know too wait two years for someone too do something. Still yet I pray that someone will mention a different kind of EMG that would record my worst of pain and that is in back of shoulder and in between my back blades and up the neck, seems the more movement I do the more my neck is effected even after having a surgery with a bar and 4 screws in my neck. So I am really scared to death to do too much of anything because of the frightening results of the same amount of pain I had suffered from the beginining, I even think my pain is so bad in the neck and shoulders I picture my bar and 4 screws bending even tho I wouldnt think that would be possible.
