Cattys,
With the other Doc, He gives me novacaine, I don't feel that at all. It takes all of five seconds and he give me the ganglia block and it does not hurt at all. The other doctor was brutal. Ask for a doctor that won't hurt you. It's bad enough being in pain from the RSD never mind having the doc hurt you!!! That is so freaky. I will never let that other doctor touch me again. I think he's sadistic. Stand up for yourself Woman!!! Hugs. Kathy

Hi Kathy thank-you for the post. I never even knew that other people who got the stellate blocks had sedation or novacaine. I just thought that the way my dr. did it was how it was done.

Then I was reading on this forum how they get sedated or novacaine and it really made me angry at my doctor.

Thankfully my block days are over. I now have a spinal cord stimulator for the pain, which helps me tremendously.
