I am doing a bit better, pain is easing off to normal but my body temp is crazier then normal. I can't go anywhere without my bottle of icy water, washcloth. I keep my ceiling fans on continously, good thing I live alone I'd be freezing them out during the night. I don't dare turn them off, I' have to get up 10 min later sweating badly when it's 52 degrees inside. I keep waiting for this to settle back to normal again also. I think that is the hardest part for family to understand, with this your whole system is affected. I had a lady ask me yesterday, it's menophase.

I said No I did that in my 30's plus never had hot flashes due to meds I take.

I am glad to hear you are doing at least a little better.

I also sweat so bad. exspecially at night but yet I get the chills cause I feel cold. My body is just so messed up anymore it is so frustrating.

The weather is finally nice here today I thought I would never see the sun again.

hello everyone,
I just had a thought. Stickgirl, I was woundering what medication you take. I'm 20 and since I changed meds I've gotten hot flashes. It's a rare side effect and it doesn't even say it on the paper you get with your meds that you could have them. My mom found out searching the web that you could have hot flashes. It's awful!! I'm sweating and boiling hot all the time. Then when I finally do strip down a little, I start to get freezing and then I can't warm up!! I hate it!!! Anyways I'm on Topiramate or Topomax. But I remember when I was on Gabapentin that I was hot quite a bit. Except in my legs where the RSD is, of course. That's either always freezing, or beet red and itchy. Not extremly comfortable, but I'll live.

Hi Stick! Glad to hear you are feeling a little better today. I haven't been posting since last week because it's hard for me to sit but I've been thinking of you. I know what you mean about being hot. I'm either hot and taking off layers and them I'm cold and putting them back on!! Take care.
