All the doctors and nurses here keep telling me that I need to move to Arizona because it's warm and dry there. Has anybody moved there or been there before or lived in a similar climate?

Did you notice any difference? Did it help any? I know I'm grabbing at straws but it rains all the time during winter where I live so I'm contantly in serious pain.

And besides, with this monster you have to grab at straws.

I live in California, not too far from Arizona, but anyway... I wouldn't know the difference. Are you willing to move? Are they that confidant that it may be helpful? Why not call a Doctor in Arizona who specialized in RSD and get thier opinion on the climate change... thats an idea!

But I would like to stay under this medical system. I have basically no money since I had only been working a year.

I hurt worse in the cold weather. I also hurt bad in the damp weather. and I can't take the heat. so I can't win for loosing. I think I will just go crawl in a cave.

I live in Calif, not as hot as Arizona. But the heat is horrible for me, my arm/hand (with RSD) swell and the pain is much worse. The cold makes the pain worse also, in Arizona you'd need a good air conditioner but then that would also bother you. Who was it that said move to Arizona? Does that person have RSD, I mean to me there is no perfect place to live with RSD. Except a place that does not get cold or hot. Arizona is desert, desert gets very cold at night.
