Hi everyone!

My Dr. just put me on topamax today. I was on neurotin.

Has anyone here who is on this have any side effects from the topamax? And what milligrams are you on?

I hope you are all having a pain tolerable day!!!!!

Hi Cattys! I've been wondering where you have been. Are you doing o'k? I take 100mg of Topomax a day. I take 50mg in the a.m and 50mg in the p.m. My doc said that one of the side effects could be loss of appetite. I haven't noticed a big difference in the way I eat - maybe a little drop. I do notice that my hot flashes are not as bad as they were on the Neurontin. He also said that some patients reported some confusion but I'm not any more confused than I was before !! LOL! Thanks so much for your reply. I am hoping to not have to many side effects from the topamax but I wouldn't mind the loss of appitite. lol!

How have you been? I hope good. The weather here absolutely stinks I am so tired of rain.

I have been doing ok. The stimulator has been giving me headaches lately so I don't get on the computer as much, when I do ,I try to post as much as I can.
