How are you doing?

Yours is a w/c injury also, right

Do they give you a pension or a dissability check each month? How long did it take to settle your case with them, did you have RSD before or after settlement?

Just wondering, mine goes to court next month. I receive payments now and always have. Was told if considered 70% or higher disabiled that you get a pension monthly.

Hi Stickgirl,

How are you doing? I hope good. Mine is a compensation case. I get paid bi-weekly comp checks.

I was injured at work and broke my wrist, which after the cast came off I was diagnosed with rSD.
so this was comp from day 1.

I have never settled. It is going on 3 years now. They still pay my medical and bi-weekly checks.

Mine is also, still the same bi-weekly checks and medical. Nothing settled yet either, thought maybe it was mine but finding that alot of cases that end without us going back to any type of work they don't settle to quick. I was hoping to at least get an advance on a settlement but they don't like helping you anymore then they have to.

I am a little better, its just really hard using my hand. The more I try to use it, the more pain I am in. I can't touch my baby finger at all, no one can. I have been trying to read more, it helps to keem my mind busy so not to get so depressed that I cry more.

How are you, I haven't seen you post much are you feeling bad or busy.

I sure wish w/c would settle for us both soon. I am really needed it.

The whole comp thing is a pain. I would just like to settle with lifetime medical and get it over with.

I hate being under theire control. They have no clue at what this disorder will do to a person.

It is rainy here agan today To bad my ship wouldn't come in and take me away for a while. ha ha.

I have never had good luck with anything, especially anything to do with settlements. Like you I will be happy with the medical covered, being under their control drives me crazy. At times checks come a day or 2 late, I wish their was a way to prove they hold onto it for a day before they mail it. They don't do direct deposit like ss or state disability. Then gas mileage checks, I have to call several times they wait till I beg. If I could work I would, if I didn't need that check I wouldn't ask....but!

Its reall nice here, just right really. I live on the river and the breeze is great today.

I'm doing a bit better today, just have to limit the use of my hand and I have less pain that way.
