When will you have the pain pump put in. Everyone I have talked to has had a great experience with it. When I had it, there was no pain at all, I loved it.

I sure wish I could have handled it, forever.

He hasnt told me when I would be getting it, just that is the next option if the stim doesnt fully work, so prob. in Aug. Because he wants me to fully heal from the surg 2 weeks ago and to see if the electrodes will heal and make the stim work better. But I really want it soo bad!! I wish I would have done that first.. but the stim is taking about 50% of that pain away at times so I guess thats a plus rihgt??

Have you heard of haveing both a pain pump and a stim at the same time? Thats what I think he is going to do with me and I have only read i think that one person on the net did and its working? I hope I can have both, not only for the pain releif but so i dont have to go through having the stim removed and opening all the incisions again... Iguess i will deal with it when he is going to do it. I see him agian on Wend and then in 3 weeks so its just a waiting game now..

Hi Bryn, I sure hope the stem starts helping you more. Your so young, I was reading more of this book I just got and was reading a few stories about children, just upset me so bad. I would rather have it thru out my body then to have child have this pain.

Anyway, I wish that they would try the stem on me, with the allergic reactions that I had with the pain pymp the doc won't try. He is worried since I can't wear jewlery, I have bad reactions to plastics also.

The pain pump was my answer, no pain at all. It was great, I started having reactions as I woke up in recovery. For 5 days the dr tried diff meds to help with my reaction nothing helped.

How are things for you, are you doing okay and are you healing okay? Are things ok with your parents?
