Hello,

I was wondering if any of you guys had this. My foot is usually cold and purple and or blue tinted. But since the warm weather has decided to come back to NY, its really red and very warm to the touch and burns more than usuall?? It also feels asleep alot of the times? I dont like the warm weather.. i like it when its like 60's out. I am gonna be a hermit now that the heat is here. I cant wear shorts bc it will show off my leg and foot and i dont want people asking questions nad the air hitting it bothers it too and dont want to get it burnt! I know excuses..lol

I see the doc tomarrow one bc i need my stim reprogramed and then my back is swollen on the side that my wires go around to my generator in my belly. It looks like i have a mini jelly roll happening on my back.. not cool.. its not warm to the touch but its sore and hurts take a deep breath it feels like its pulling someingthing bad.! So i wil have answers then... maybe the rsd has spread?? I dont want to go there... ok. welll talk to you all tomarrow, if im not admitted... take care and hope you all are doing good.

My feet and kees go red and burning hot too. Really hot!!! I don't like air blowing on my skin either.

The weather here is so hot, My skin is also red and the bluish hue is not so noticable.

My hands and feet fall asleep all the time anymore. I was thinking it was from the stimulator. I don't know. Did you say before that you had a infection in the lead after your surgery and were on antibiotics. When mine was infected the wire that was connected to the battery that went from my stomach to my back was swollen and red and very sore. I hope you don't have that problem it was a horrible ordeal.

Oh Bryn, I hope it will be all okay for you. Sure hope it is not infected back there, I'd hate to see you go thru more. Please let us know when you can.

My hand turns blue also, this heat is not good either. It is very hot here today, summer is horrible where I live. My hand turns blue/red/swells, just need a transplant......

I keep a wrap on it that my therapist gives me, I have several of them this way one is always clean. The wind/heat and a/c hurts when it blows on my arm/hand so it is protected. This wrap also helps the swelling.

Hi Bryn!

Good luck tomorrow. I hope it's not infected. As for the redness and warmth...I've noticed that during the hot weather, my legs tend to be red and hot more often than in the cold weather when they are more often than not, blue and cold. Bye.
