Hi Everyone!

Joey was in an accident on his way home from work today.....the car in front of him stopped short at a light after it turned green, and he crashed into them...It was a big solid SUV that didn't get hurt, but OUR car is all crushed in, the fender just smushed into the front and buckled the hood.

Joey thinks he's fine...but I'm worried about the trauma making his RSD flare up! His hands took the brunt of the shock, along with his *good* foot which was slamming on the brake, and his whole body really from the impact....I'm worried about whiplash too, but more about the RSD!

I just wanted to tell you all and see if you had any comments?? Has anyone else been in an accident and had anything bad happen with the RSD?

Hi Ange,

I'm sorry to hear about the accident. As far as the RSD goes, I think all you can do is take one day at a time or else you'll drive yourself crazy. Do you know what I mean? There's nothing you can do about it. The accident happened and now I guess, it's just a wait and see thing. I would tell the doc that he had this accident, but other than that, I don't think there's much you can do but hope and pray that he's okay. Good luck.

Tell Joey I hope he is feeling better real soon. Sometimes it the small ones that hurt the most. Please just keep a close eye on him!! Please take him to the Dr. even if he thinks he is ok. Better safe then sorry!! I will keep yo both in my paryers!!

Ange, my best wishes go out to Joey and to you. I'm sorry to hear about the accident and know this must be frightening. Try not to worry about tomorrow--today has enough of it's own concerns. I'll keep you both in my prayers.
