Thanks to everyone who replied soooo fast! I have RSD in both legs, although the left is worse than the right. Also in both hips and across the back like where your belt would go. Then it goes into both shoulders up part of my neck and both sides of my face. I also get these terrible most painful leasions only on the joints of my hands. All test come back negative with no growth and no infection. What a mean monster we are dealing with! Unfortunatly,I can't do blocks or epidurals and it's getting to the point I'm scared of IV'S. The reason being they may last 2 days, then it goes to infection and most likely the RSD spreads if it isn't already there.Now you can see why I'm so curious about any feedback I can get on the dorcel column stimulator. Didn't mean to bring anybody down. As I told a friend I hadn't seen in a while,Must not be too bad I'm out and still haven't seen my picture in the obits!!!

Hi Coleen,

Welcome to the Board. I haven't done the stimulators, so can't give you any info there. Haven't had any of the "traditional" treatments actually, so I'll just say HI.

I've got in my feet and hands and arms. I'm sorry you're having such a rough time. It sounds really more painful than I face, and my heart goes out to you.

Has anyone suggested some vitamin therapies? I'm going to be starting on one, so I can't tell you first hand any information, but I've been finding amazing information about it. I didn't know that depletion of any ONE of a long list of nutrients can cause neuropathy. I about fell out of my chair! But I ramble.

Welcome to the board, hope you find some useful information here. Everyone is wonderful to talk to, vent to, or just get an encouraging word from.

Hi Colleen and welcome,

I've had RSD for 17 years-since I was 15 years old. It started in my left foot and now is in my legs and left arm. I had a trial for the stim, but it didn't help so I can't help you much there. I now have a pump and I like it a lot. It's so much better than being on all the oral meds I was on before. Again, welcome and hope to talk to you soon.

Welcome. I am so sorry to hear you have it so bad! I was at the hospital when you posted your first post apparantly, and I haven't gotten to it yet. I wish I could help you with the dorsal column stim, but I haven't had one. I do hope you find the answers you're looking for.
