Thank you for asking! My Honey Bun seems to be fine...no flare ups of the RSD or whiplash....WHEW!!
Unfortunately, our car did not fare so well.....they've told us they're calling it a Total Loss, since the estimate is $3600 so far, not counting any internal damage, and the car ('95 Saturn) is not worth that....which is just a MAJOR bummer for us, something we totally did NOT need right now!
Since it was our 'commuter car', we luckily do have my 'family car' ('95 Taurus Wagon), but now I have to shuttle everyone all over the place....Joey can't take the subway because he goes to work so early (5:15am to be ready to start at 6:00!) and the stress of all the walking, switching trains, stairs, etc would be too much for him. So, even though I work past Midnight, and have a 2:00 average bedtime, I'm up now with our two little girls to drive him to work, then my 6 yr old has Day Camp, back to sleep with my 4 yr old, lunch, then gotta go pick everyone up.....then drive myself to work 25 miles away...Aaaargh!
Anyway, thanks for letting me vent....hopefully we can find something decent (yeah, right) to replace our car soon with the approx $2000 they'll give us!
