Hope this is what you're looking for.
Sympathetic Therapy System (STS) uses electrical currents to "calm down the sympathetic nervous system that is revved up because of pain.
Electrodes hooked up to the STS device are placed on a patient's peripheral nerves (nerves that are located close to the skin) of the lower legs and feet or arms and hands. The electric currents travel through the nervous system to the spine and then to the central nervous system, treating the entire body.
Other machines that use electric currents treat only parts of the body, or localized areas. STS treats systematically.
A daily treatment takes about one hour.
After the standard 20 visits, patients may choose to purchase the machine for home use, as ongoing STS therapy is recommended for optimal relief.
The STS device costs $4,000 and does not help everyone.
