Hi Sharon! Thanks for asking. It's been quite a week! Starting with my washer backing up in the basement and flooding the whole floor with 2 inches of water! Ugh! What a mess! Two days I had to deal with that - up and down the stairs. I'm too bull headed for my own good. Trying to clean everything myself. My foot is now killing me. Anyway, it is now all back to normal - the washer not the foot. Wednesday eve my husband and I went to the pain/anest doc. He is the one who has been doing my blocks. I wanted him to be my doc in charge of everything - meds etc.. Well, get this!! He doesn't "do chronic pain management" he does "interventional pain procedures"! I laughed. I said well you should take your sign off the door then that says you are a pain care center. So, bottom line is that he will continue to do my blocks and any other procedures I need. I will stick with my physiatrist who first diagnosed me for pain meds and PT if needed. I was ready to write off the physiatrist because I thought he was anti pain meds but I spoke with him Friday and he said he would continue to prescribe them for me if and when I need them. So, the block which will be my 3rd for this foot is scheduled for next Friday at 7:30 in the morning. I'm hoping that after this one and maybe 1 or 2 more I can decrease my pain level to a bearable point. I appreciate your asking how I am. Hope you are o'kay.
Take Care.
Dianne
