I just wanted to wish Joey good luck tomorrow with his block. I know you have a question about the difference between an epidural injection and a lumbar sympathetic block. I've had both and here's my understanding of the difference...the epidural injection goes to the epidural space and the LSB goes to one side or the other of the spinal canal. Make sense? From my experience, the epidural one gets both limbs and the LSB gets one or the other. Hope this helps. I personally agree with what you think about the sympathectomy. I've read very few success stories about RSD and sympathectomy. I had one and it's probably the only thing that I've ever regretted doing in my whole life! Good luck tomorrow.
