Zyprexa for RSD??? - Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Message Board

Has anyone out there been given Zyprexa/Olanzpine for RSD. I know that it is for schizophrenia but my pain MD gave me some samples to try and a perscriptions in case I wanted to continue. Now I am reading that it might cause diabetes and pancreatitis, but the anxiety I get when I have a flare is what I think he was trying to give it to me for. Just thought I would check and see if any of you knew anything about it??

PS: Also on Prozac 30mg, Duragesic patch 50mcg, Zanaflex 6mg,Topamax 800mg and Prilcosec.

Hi Tracy,
Sorry, but i haven't heard of that drug, so can't be of much help to you. If you give me the other name of it I might be able to tell you. Most drugs have two names, and it should tell you on the info with it.

Hi Tracey. I have a question about the xanaflex. Do you take all 6mg at once or spread it throughout the day?
