Well it has been a while since I've posted. I think I was banned for awhile because I gave Liz the phone number for a Dr. MacNeill in Atlanta. I loved him by the way and he along with 2 other doctors I saw do not feel I have RSD...at least right now. They can't say if that is what I had originally or not. My feeling is that I have always had minor RSD symptoms because I have always been slow to heal from surgeries and have excessive pain. I think the stellate block they did in August put the RSD into remission and now I am left with a frozen shoulder. They are going to do a manipulation under anaesthetic and arthroscopic surgery on the 28th of November. They are supposed to give me a nerve block to the neck first and that is the only way I will consent to any surgery. That is what Dr. MacNeill recommended. My heart goes out to all of you that are still suffering. I was a mental wreck for the 4 months after I was diagnosed with RSD and a physical wreck for those 4 and the 5 prior to being diagnosed. Being told I don't have it now has lifted a tremendous weight off of me. All of you will be in my prayers...always...because i genuinely know what pain and anguish you go through on a daily basis. i will still visit the board to keep in touch and let you know how surgery goes.
