Smile Edna

Hi Edna,

First of all, I want to wish you luck for tomorrow in case you see this before your court date. In another thread, you asked about how people bump up topics. I answered you on that thread, but I don't know if you saw it so I'll tell you again. I think that you can reply with whatever you want in order to get the topic to the top again. Most people just write "bump," but you can do whatever you want. I like the smilie idea myself. All you do, I think, is reply with whatever and you get the topic to the top again. Hope this answers your question.

Sharon

Hi cattys,

Thanks. That's so sweet of you to remember. How are you doing? How are all your cuts, any signs of healing yet? I think it was Bryn that asked about hypertension a couple of weeks ago. Well, get this. I went to the doc this week and now I have to take blood pressure meds! I told him that I knew I shouldn't have come to his office. Every time I go, they find something wrong. Didn't you say that you also have bp problems? My top number was 190. I guess the bottom was okay because he didn't say anything, but he seemed to be horrified at the 190. I told him I think it's from the RSD. What do you think? Talk to you soon.

Hi Sharon

Yes I to have the high blood pressure. what makes me so mad is when I go to the Dr. and they find somthing wrong and you tell them you think it is a effect from the RSD they look at me like I am nuts. I know one thing that is for sure we the people who have RSD know a heck of alot more then the DR's. If I could only right my own scrips I would stop wasting my time going to the Dr. and treat myself. As you can tell I had it with the medical field. MIne has no bedside manner whatsoever.

My leg is slowly healing it is feeling better. It is so rainy and dreary here today then with the time change it gets dark so early that is a total drag. I am ready for spring already.

I hope you are having a good day.

((((Gentle Hugs))))

Hi cattys,

I know what you mean about the docs. I've been lucky lately, but I sure have had my fill of those kind too. You must live in my neck of the woods. Very dreary here too and windy. I hate the time change too. I love when we "spring ahead" in April. Hopefully, it will come fast. About the blood pressure thing...you know Dr. Hooshmand's site? I went there last night and he has a puzzle on RSD and hypertension. I printed it out to show my doc. You might want to too. I don't know if you'll get anywhere with your doc, but it might help. He says that the regular hypertension drugs that other people take are not affective for hypertension in RSDers. He listed three that are. Hopefully, that will help you. Maybe if your doc sees it in writing, he might be more apt to believe that it's the RSD. Talk to you soon.

Sharon
