Hi guys! I'm back! But from where? Well let's just say that another member of this board and me were lost in cyberspace for a little while.
Now for my three-part good news:
1) I won my workers compensation case! It's finally over after a year and a half of litigation! And I won! I beat my jerk ex-boss! This means that he has lost his appeal to suspend my benefit payments, and will have to continue to pay me. It also means that his insurance company is responsible for all of my medical care for my RSD for the rest of my life. I'm sure they will try to offer me a settlement, so we'll see how that goes.

.
2) I settled my EEOC case against my ex-boss out-of-court. I picked up the check today! It wasn't anywhere near the amount of money I was hoping for, but still he had to pay me and he had to agree to several of my conditions including clearing my work record, releasing me from my non-compete contract, and agreeing not to interfere with my workers compensation benefits.
3) After waiting nearly a year, the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation has finally supplied me with some adaptive equipment. Including a special phone, a mini keyboard, and speech software that I'm using right now to write this, so I don't have to type just one-handed. All of this equipment I will need to get back to work, and OVR has also set me up with a great rehabilitation center where I am seeing a career counselor and a pain psychologist in preparation to get back into the workforce someday soon. I hope.
So I thought I'd share my good news with you all! I finally feel like all my hard work is paying off. I hope you all get the same opportunities I am getting right now.
