| Re: private message
Please the posting rules and the messages posted on this board by the administrator.
If a feature is turned off, it is because it is not allowed.
Private messaging and emails are not allowed here because these message boards are for anonymous use only.
On-the-board sharing allows for everyone to benefit from the discussions, support and information.

If you cannot access a feature of this program...
If you cannot access a feature of this program, it either is permanently off because it is against the Posting Rules, or is temporarily off.
Please read the rules to see what features are against our rules and are not allowed. On one of your posts, you can check to see if the word Banned is under your username. If something is against the rules, or if you are banned, you are not supposed to have access. In that case follow the procedure in the Posting Rules.
If you are not banned and it is not against the rules, please post an alert (DO NOT EMAIL) one time on the Registration Board. Please do not post duplicate alerts. Before you post, check to see if an alert was already posted. If it was posted we already know of the problem and it will be fixed as soon as possible.
Please do not email us about features you cannot access (see above).
Thanks for your cooperation.

Private Messaging is not allowed here.
Private messaging is turned off on these forums.
Please read the Healthboards.com Policies and Guidelines, which explain that offering or asking off board contact is not permitted. The boards are to be used for on board sharing, only. The email and private message features are turned off so that use of the message boards remain anonymous.
The Faq explains how the program features work, but not all features are available to members. When you get the "do not have permission" message, and if you are not banned, that feature is not for members.

If you cannot use a feature~
If you get a message that you cannot access something, and you do not have "banned" under your username, it is not for member use. Example: Messaging is for moderator/Admin communications, not members.
Read the Posting Rules. The rules of the website helps make this a safe and peaceful peer support community for all to share.
This message board community has been provided for anonymous use and on-board sharing, only. Members can not access every feature that may be seen because it may be turned off by the adminstrator. Some features that may not be used include most of the profile, emailing other members, and the private messaging, among others.
Please carefully review, know and follow the Policies and Guidelines.
Click on Posting Rules at the top left of any page. (The FAQ only tells how various features work on this program. It does not tell what features have been turned on or off.)
Thank you.
