PM's

I have been reprimanded for telling some people to PM each other and I don't understand this. I have posted for people to PM me before and have seen other people do the same without a reprimand. Was this an oversight on the moderator's part in the past or have the rules changed? Sorry I did that but past experience seemed to me to allow it.

Thanks.

Titchou

Re: PM's

Offering/asking off-board contact has never been allowed. The Posting Policy specifically states "Do not discuss PM on the boards for any reason." You cannot assume that others are following the rules. It is every member's responsibility to honor their membership agreement. You may always report bad posts by clicking on the icon.

Re: PM's

Also, don't assume they did not get reminded with an Infraction. You can see only your own Infraction points.

What it may appear others did and got away with doesn't change the rules or your own agreement to keep them.
